Put A Love Lock On Father Bernatek Footbridge

Father Bernatek bridge is situated close to Galeria Kazimierz.

According to tradition, if partners attach the padlocks with their names to the railings on the bridge and then throw the keys into the Wisla river, it guarantees eternal love.

Can’t say whether it’s true or not but it definitely worked for us! Our padlock is there since 2011.

TIP: You can’t buy a padlock anywhere near. Be sure to order it online or buy it in a local store before the date.

It’s probably the most hipster place in Krakow (right next to Forum Przestrzenie) but there is a special reason to go there.

Out of the variety of food that you can try at Skwer Judah, there is one that you can impress your partner with: maczanka krakowska that you can buy at Andrus Food Truck. It’s one of the oldest Polish street food (popular among students before world wars).

Maczanka krakowska is a sandwich with pulled meat and veggies that is really delicious! Vegetarian options are available as well.
