Actually, pasta in Polish can be toothpaste, shoe polish, or in general something crashed and brought to a mushy consistency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cham_pronounced_ham\"><\/span>Cham (pronounced ham)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cham in Polish is an offensive word that describes someone rude, a boor, and uncouth. If you suspect that a butcher in Poland might not speak English, choose your words wisely while buying a ham. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"No\"><\/span>No<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No, pronounced as &#8220;knoh&#8221; means <strong>Yes<\/strong>&#8230; but sometimes it means <strong>NO<\/strong>, it depends.  No <a href=\"https:\/\/travelpolandtours.com\/tips-for-solo-traveling-to-poland-alone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alone<\/a> will always mean <strong>Yes<\/strong>. No before &#8220;NIE&#8221;, means &#8211; <strong>NO<\/strong>, but No before &#8220;Tak&#8217;, means &#8211; <strong>Yes<\/strong>.  It&#8217;s complicated, I know!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dress\"><\/span>Dress<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dress in Polish means a tracksuit, a complete top, and bottom, or just pants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We even have a famous song in Polish. It&#8217;s about the subculture of &#8220;dresiarze&#8221;, people who were tracksuits all day.
